
Class Descriptions
Cycle
Cycle is a 30, 45 or 60 minute class that will get your heart rate up, sweat to the max and burn massive calories long after the class has finished! This is a fun, ride to the rhythm, high-intensity class. Low impact – it causes less strain and injuries than most other forms of exercise and still uses all of the major muscle groups as you pedal. Unlike some other sports, cycling does not require high levels of physical skill.
Zumba
Ditch the workout, join the party®!!! Total body workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, boosted energy and a serious dose of awesome each time you leave class. Zumba® Fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise.
Barbell Workout
Using barbell, weighted plates, dumbbells and your own bodyweight as resistance, this class will give you a complete full body workout! An Instructor will coach you through the targeted exercises while properly reinforcing good form and technique. You will be encouraged and motivated to achieve much more than you thought possible.
HIIT
A 30-minute high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout, designed by our instructors to improve strength, cardiovascular fitness and build lean muscle. This workout uses barbell, weight plate and bodyweight exercises to blast all major muscle groups. We combine this full body workout with powerful music and inspirational coaches who will be down on the floor with you, motivating you to push yourself to the limit.
Step
Cleverly choreographed 8 count movements, that build a routine to strengthen your muscles and increase your heart rate. Routines are built step by step to make them easy to follow, easy to learn, and easy to love!
Dance Fitness
Cardio class set to pop music. Cardio moves will be incorporated into the dances. The pace is a moderate intensity, but as always modifications are welcomed and encouraged!
Cardio Toning
Cardio Toning is for those who want to party, but put extra emphasis on toning & sculpting. The challenge of adding resistance by using light dumbbells and resistance bands helps focus on specific muscle groups, so you and your muscles stay engaged!
Workout of the Day
WOD is a class flexible to serve every level of fitness. Experience high-intensity, full-body workouts that target the major muscle groups of the core, upper & lower body. From circuit-style routines that jump-start cardio fitness, to muscle-toning exercises using dumbbells, exercise bands, balls, and even the body weight, each class brings its own unique challenges.
Kickstart Fitness
Kickstart Fitness includes cardio kickboxing (non-contact) with more continuous movement to keep your heart rate up, as well as incorporating punching/kicking bags and mitts. The first 30 minutes of class is non-contact cardio kickboxing, where you will learn punch and kick combos, starting with one move and building up to multiple moves.
The second half of class uses the moves you have learned on the kick/punch bag.
POUND
POUND® is a full-body cardio jam session, combining light resistance with constant simulated drumming. The workout fuses cardio, Pilates, isometric movements, plyometrics and Isometric poses to strengthen and sculpt infrequently used muscles, and drum your way to a leaner, slimmer physique. Low - medium impact, typically barefoot.
Yoga
Beginner Yoga is designed to engage the body and mind. This class offers the benefits of flexibility, strength, energy, and aids in injury prevention. You will explore balance and breathing exercises to release tension and stress from the joints as well as the mind. Modifications for every fitness level to help you achieve a personalized workout with the benefits of a group exercise atmosphere.
ENCORE
ENCORE Rock Movement® is a fitness experience combining the sounds of rock-n-roll with music-led movement for an epic workout! Each class is designed for all fitness levels with easy to follow and easy to modify movements. The music is chosen specifically to keep you motivated for the entire class. Channel your inner rock star and get ready to rock the house!
