Meet our Squad
In addition to running EveryBODY Fitness, Malissa is also a graduation coach/at-risk counselor at Huntington High School. She started off taking group fitness classes as a way to ward off the dreaded slowing metabolism that sets in as we hit our 30’s. In 2018, she was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and her real journey with fitness began. In conjunction with traditional treatment for her RA symptoms, her doctor recommended a more consistent and diverse exercise regimen. The rest is history! Two years later she is feeling healthier than ever. When she was presented with the opportunity to re-open the gym that she and so many others had grown to love, she jumped right in. Malissa believes that exercise and particularly group fitness is very important for both physical and mental health. She hopes that EveryBODY Fitness will serve as a positive source of health and happiness for the community, and she can’t wait to see where this journey takes her.
